Ways To Give

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Donor Advised Funds are the fastest-growing giving method and tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations. Donor Advised Funds allow donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

The Neighborhood Academy proudly accepts donations through Donor Advised Funds (DAF.) If you have an existing DAF, you can designate your support to The Neighborhood Academy directly using the DAF Direct tool, otherwise, DAF gifts can be designated to:

The Neighborhood Academy
709 North Aiken Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15206

The Neighborhood Academy’s Tax ID number (EIN) is 25-1816609

Planned Giving

Planned giving allows anyone to make a substantial contribution to The Neighborhood Academy — regardless of income or financial status. It is a way to level the playing field, giving everyone a chance to become a philanthropist and make a difference. And it provides significant financial benefits to you as well.

Here’s how:

Some planned gifts provide lifelong income to the donor (yes, you read that correctly). Other gift plans significantly reduce taxes that would otherwise take a big chunk out your loved ones’ inheritance — providing for both charity and heirs in ways that maximize the gift while minimizing its impact on your estate.

In short, a planned gift is any major gift that is part of a donor’s overall financial planning.
